The BGi197 is a semi automated taping / repacking machine developed for the electronic market. It is used mainly from bulk stock or following a need to pack from tray or tube, to tape.

Equipped with a color screen-touch interface and originally developed as a stand alone equipment, it can be integrated at the end of an automed production line, driven by end user PLC or computer. 

 

Mid tape rework and re-sealing

Notice an issue in the middle of a tape? sealing not done properly, SMD or part missing, undesired empty pocket?

 The main feature of BGi197 offers the possibility:

  • To re-seal, or rework in the middle of a band or tape, without having to unroll it.
  • To rework in the middle of the tape, adding missing SMD or components.

  • Adjustment of the width tape: from 8 to 110mm
  • Pocket depth: 40mm max (depending on configuration)
  • Reel width: 124mm max. Reel diameter: up to 800mm (reinforcement by horizontal metal bar)
  • Sealing temperature up to 200°
  • Adjustment of sealing pressure. Both CStand alone equipment with screen touch interface
  • Automated optical inspection of the display
  • Control made using contact and contactless interfaces
  • Sealing pressure: adjustable and independent on both sides
  • Up to 50 programs so store in the PLC
  • Supplied with manual pickup vaccum tool
